Snug Hideaways is free to use because it's funded by affiliate commission. Being straight about that is the whole point of this page.

What that means

Many of the outbound links on this site — the ones marked “View & book” — are affiliate links, mostly through the Awin network. If you click one and go on to book, the accommodation provider pays us a small commission.

• It costs you nothing extra. You pay exactly the same price as booking directly.
• It doesn't buy a better position. Providers can't pay to rank higher or to be featured. Where a place is a paid promotion, we label it.
• We don't take your booking or your payment. You book on the provider's own website and your contract is with them.

Why we do it this way

Commission lets us spend time curating and writing honest local notes rather than selling listings to businesses. It only works if you trust what we recommend, so we only feature places we'd be happy to book ourselves. Read how we choose for the detail.
